The process of exfoliation removes the dead surface cells assocaited with the dulling of skin. The natural loofah's are made one side from natural hemp and the other side is made from 100% natural and chemical free loofah. Loofah's are cultivated from sustainable stock, it is an all year round plant with beautiful yellow flowers and the fruit of the plant are long and cylindrical, during the ripening process the interior of the fruit become fibrous and almost mesh like. It is these fruit that are allowed to ripen on the plant and dry and then peeled and cut to produce flat pieces of loofah.
The loofahs are available in two varieties one designed for use with liquid body wash. The other has been designed so that the hemp and loofah create a pocket for placing a bar of soap in - gone are the days of chasing the bar of soap round the bath!
